Fractured Grove (2025)

Fractured Grove captures a mirrored suburban street where trees and buildings converge into a symmetrical vortex, forming an artificial mandala of landscape and structure. The barren tree at the center becomes a spine—its limbs reaching in all directions like neural pathways or rivers branching through memory.

The reflection splits the street into an uncanny crossroads, inviting the viewer to consider how space, identity, and memory are layered through time. As part of the Futurism series, this work investigates familiar environments reimagined through distortion—where homes and nature no longer feel rooted in a single reality.

By reflecting and recomposing the everyday, Fractured Grove transforms a moment of quiet residential normalcy into a surreal, almost mythic visual poem about place, duality, and imagined futures.
