Crossroads Reverberation (2025)
Mediums
Digital photograph, mirrored manipulation
Crossroads Reverberation transforms an ordinary street intersection into a symmetrical, almost spiritual geometry. Mirrored in four directions, the road markings, curbs, and landscaped median converge into a diamond-shaped focal point—turning the logic of urban planning into a mandala of repetition and choice. The familiar becomes strange, and the mundane becomes mesmerizing.
The precision of the yellow directional lines is multiplied and abstracted, calling to mind ritual diagrams, digital glitches, or psychological maps. The mirrored landscape questions our trust in infrastructure and linear thinking—highlighting how even the most rigid systems can be bent through perspective.
As part of the Futurism series, Crossroads Reverberation draws on the visual codes of traffic, surveillance, and movement, yet redirects them inward. The intersection becomes symbolic: a space of endless looping paths and unresolved directions. What begins as a street becomes a mirror of decision-making, surveillance, and systemic design.
